Because it has no flavour, Vitargo Pure can be added to your own protein shake, smoothie, porridge or other supplements, so you control exactly what goes in your bottle. Carbohydrates contribute to the recovery of normal muscle function (contraction) after highly intensive and/or long-lasting physical exercise leading to muscle fatigue and the depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscle. The beneficial effect is obtained with consumption of carbohydrates, from all sources, at a total intake of 4 g per kg of body weight, at doses, within the first 4 hours and no later than 6 hours following highly intensive and/or long-lasting physical exercise. Vitargo® is a patented, high-molecular-weight carbohydrate made from waxy maize starch, developed in Sweden and used by endurance and strength athletes worldwide. It has a very low osmolality, so it mixes into a light, non-sticky drink.

How to use

Shake 75 g vigorously with 500–700 ml of water, or add the amount you need to a protein shake, smoothie or oats. Use before, during or after training.
